“This has really rocked us, this is a sad day.” We had a shift change, the new counselor came and picked up the pool and found Wrigley underneath unresponsive,” said Tiziano. “There was a counselor going back and forth but no one noticed. No one at Camp Bow Wow noticed the accident and Wrigley suffocated under the plastic pool. It happened in the heat of the day around noon.
“Unfortunately, he came and got underneath the pool, batted at it and somehow it fell on him.” He was a dog that just couldn’t get enough of the pool,” explained Tiziano. His mom brought him in but it would be the last time she would get to say goodbye. Wrigley, the bulldog also known as “Monster,” was young and came to Camp Bow Wow to socialize. “We feel terrible,” said camp owner Isel Tiziano.
